Sarah Kim is a partner in the New York office of the private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a leading global private equity firm. Since joining CD&R in 2008, she has played key roles in a number of the firm’s investments including Diversey, HD Supply, ServiceMaster, and David’s Bridal. She is now focused on the firm’s investment efforts in the healthcare services and pharma/pharma services sectors. Since taking on coverage of the healthcare space, Ms. Kim has led or co-lead the firm’s investments in M2GEN, Vets First Choice and its successor Covetrus, and naviHealth.
Prior to CD&R, she held positions at private equity firms Metalmark Capital and McCown De Leeuw. She began her career in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co.
Ms. Kim currently serves as a director of M2GEN and Huntsworth. Prior corporate board involvement includes naviHealth, ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (both as a private and public company), and Vets First Choice among others. She also serves on the board of the New York Foundling and on the advisory board of the Harvard Association for Law and Business. Ms. Kim received a B.A. in economics and political science from Yale University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
