Dr. Ulrich H. von Andrian is the Mallinckrodt Professor of Immunopathology at Harvard Medical School. He is also senior investigator of the von Andrian Lab at Boston Children's Hospital and steering committee member (basic immunology program) of the Ragon Institute of Massachusetts General Hospital, MIT, and Harvard University.
Dr. von Andrian is an expert in immune cell trafficking, how antigen detection leads to T and B cell responses, and how these responses are controlled by activity in the lymph nodes. He has been elected to the European Academy of Sciences, and in addition to being a member of CRI’s Scientific Advisory Council, Dr. von Andrian serves on the Postdoctoral Fellowship Review Committee.
