Mr. Lynch joined the CRI Board of Trustees in 2002. He is Chairman of Banking at Barclays Investment Bank.
Previously, Mr. Lynch served as partner at White Deer Energy, a private equity group formed in 2008 that invests in middle market energy companies, until his departure from the firm in 2019. Prior to that, he was Global Chairman of the Financial Institutions Group with responsibility for managing a number of global and local financial services’ client relationships which are of critical importance to the firm. Mr. Lynch also served as Chairman of the North American Mergers and Acquisitions Group with responsibility for strategic advisory assignments across a variety of clients and industries, and as a vice chairman of the firm. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Mr. Lynch was a general partner of The Beacon Group, a private investment and strategic advisory firm as well as a member of its Operating Committee and Investment Committee.
Previously, Mr. Lynch was co-chief executive officer and co-president of The Bridgeford Group, a merger, acquisition, and financial advisory firm. He joined Bridgeford in 1991 from Lehman Brothers where, as a managing director, he was a member of the Management Committee and responsible for merger, acquisition, and financial advisory assignments for a wide range of clients and industries. The Bridgeford Group merged with The Beacon Group in April 1997. Mr. Lynch joined Lehman Brothers in 1976.
Mr. Lynch is a trustee of St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware, and is a former trustee of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He received both a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1974 and an MBA.in 1976 from the University of Pennsylvania.
