Dr. Jonathan Bramson is a Professor of Pathology and Molecular Medicine and the Associate Dean of Research for the Faculty of Health Sciences. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Translational Cancer Immunology and the John Bienenstock Chair in Molecular Medicine.
The Bramson lab is focused on developing methods to direct cancer patients’ immune systems to attack their tumors using a variety of strategies, including engineered T cells, oncolytic viruses and vaccines. Bramson also directs the Human Immune Testing Suite (HITS) at McMaster, an immune monitoring facility that adheres to the OECD principles of Good Laboratory Practice.
