Deanne Marbach joined the Cancer Research Institute in 2018. She helps donors achieve their philanthropic goals, oversees donor engagement, and identifies new donors who are passionate about cancer immunotherapy. Since her arrival, she has raised over $4 million from major donors.
Deanne has extensive experience fundraising for nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining CRI, she fundraised for the Archdiocese of New York for 15 years. She initially ran the Job Opportunities Program for high school juniors to obtain paid internships and later served as a frontline development officer with the Inner-City Scholarship Fund. She also founded a nonprofit in California, Tips2Succeed, with the mission of teaching youth who aged out of the foster care system skills for working in the hospitality industry.
Her early career roles include working in finance as a Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income Sales at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette and as a partner in the interior design firm of CPS Design.
Deanne graduated from College of Notre Dame, Rome, Italy campus, with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
