Michael J. Petrick is a member of the CRI Board of Trustees.
Mr. Petrick was previously Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Occom Ridge Capital. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and Head of Global Market Strategies at the Carlyle Group, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Petrick had a 20-year career at Morgan Stanley where he served as Global Head of Institutional Sales, Trading and Principal Investments, and a member of the firms Operating Committee.
Mr. Petrick has served as Chairman of the Boards of DigitalGlobe, TVN Entertainment, CHI Energy, and Carlyle GMS Finance. He served as a member of the Boards of Marvel Entertainment, V2 (Virgin) Music, Premium Standard Farms Inc., Pacific & Atlantic Shipping, and American Household. He currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the University of Chicago Innovation Fund.
Mr. Petrick graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and economics from Grinnell College and earned his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.
