Michael M. Kellen is chairman and co-chief executive officer of Bleichroeder L.P.
Mr. Kellen was previously vice chairman and director of First Eagle Investment Management. He also served as co-president and co-chief executive officer of Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder Holdings, Inc. He joined the firm in 1978 as the portfolio manager of an offshore U.S. equities fund, and later served as director of research, sales, and trading. In 1987, he co-founded the First Eagle Fund of America, a U.S. registered mutual fund, which he managed until 1991. He has been a portfolio manager and securities analyst at the Office of William T. Golden, a private investment group. Before that, he was a securities analyst at Clark, Dodge, Inc.
Mr. Kellen obtained a BA from Harvard College in 1966 with a major in economics. He is married with three children and resides in Manhattan.
Mr. Kellen joined the Cancer Research Institute Board of Trustees in April 2009.
